Blat gets a facelift
Aug 16th, 2009 by Mike
Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been working on Blat over the last two weekends? Well, I’ve been giving Blat a facelift
I’m not 100% complete, but only the home page page still needs some attention. The Blat home page is a rather complex beast, and while I have already made some changes - Which hopefully improve things a bit - I plan to make even more changes over the next few weeks.
All of the other things I’ve addressed with the facelift: -
- All of the themes will now display the same Blat favicon.
- I’ve unhooked AJAX error reporting in some themes that was causing them to behave inconsistently.
- All of the error pages have now been nicely themed (If I missed any, please let me know).
- All of the sign-up pages, confirmation pages, search result page, etc. have been nicely themed (If I missed any, please let me know).
- I finally got around to adding an About Blat page.
- Search functionality (On the Blat home page and on the Blat toolbar) has been hooked into the “new and improved” Google AdSense for Search.
- The random blog functionality on the Blat home page has been massaged a bit. The page will no longer change height depending on the content displayed in the random blog div.
- I’m sure that I’ve forgotten about many other things, but hey, I’m sure you’ll notice them
